Jacqui Jones is CEO of One Degree Marketing. One Degree is a boutique style marketing firm that focuses on developing strategy for small businesses, brands, and organizations, as well as providing implementation services in social media management, website design & development, email marketing, and brand management. One Degree also offers “Elevation Academy”, an online marketing education resource for entrepreneurs who want to do better with what they have.
Jacqui is Community Engagement Manager for Create Birmingham where she works to form partnerships with individuals and organizations in Birmingham, AL that work to provide resources, education, and opportunities to underserved communities.
She works with agencies like TruFund Financial Services and Sabre Finance to educate small business owners on marketing core principles to help start and grow their business. She facilitates the GoDaddy Empower Program and CO.Starters idea development program across the southeast.
An alumni of The University of Alabama, Jacqui is a 2018 Renasant Roots Capacity Building Awardee, a 2018 Small Business Administration Emerging Leaders Awardee, a 2019 TEDx speaker the 2019 American Marketing Association Birmingham Chapter “Young Professional Marketer Of The Year”, was listed on the 2019 Birmingham Business Journal Women to Watch, and listed as one of the 2020 Birmingham Business Journal 40 under 40.
